Bar Chart Maker Online – Enter Data, Auto Scale, Download PNG

Quick answer
Type a label and a value for each bar, pick a colour for each one and press Add New Bar for more. The bar chart maker scales the Y-axis automatically, adds grid lines and prints each value on top of its bar. Give the chart a title if you like, then press Download Chart to save an 800×500 PNG with a white background. It is free and works in your browser.
Bar charts are the easiest way to compare amounts side by side: sales by month, students per class, visits by country. The longest bar stands out immediately, and small differences that are hard to spot in a table become obvious.
This bar chart maker online is built for quick charts you need in a report, a slide or a social post. You do not need a spreadsheet or any chart settings. Enter the numbers and the scale, grid and labels are handled for you.

| Value labels | Each bar shows its exact value above it |
| Custom colours | One colour per bar, picked from a colour square |
| Download | PNG, 800×500 pixels, white background, named after your title |
How to Use the Bar Chart Maker
The tool opens with four sample bars, Q1 to Q4. The example adds a Target bar and a new title.
Step 1: Enter a label and value for each bar
Each row under Data Source is one bar. Type the category name and the number. The chart preview on the right updates as you type. Press the red ✕ on a row to delete that bar.

Step 2: Add bars and set their colours
Press Add New Bar to add another row with the next colour from the palette, then rename it and enter its value. Click the colour square on any row to change that bar's colour. In the example, adding a Target bar of 1000 raised the top of the scale so every bar still fits.

Step 3: Add a title and download the chart
Type a title in Chart Title (Optional) and press Download Chart. The PNG includes the title, axis, grid, labels and values, so you can drop it straight into Word, PowerPoint, Google Slides or a web page.

Bar Chart or Another Chart Type?
| Your goal | Best chart |
|---|---|
| Compare separate categories | Bar chart |
| Show how one total splits into parts | Pie chart |
| Show a trend over time | Line graph |
| Rank items from highest to lowest | Bar chart, with rows sorted by value |
Tips for Clear Bar Charts
- Keep labels short. Labels longer than 12 characters are shortened on the chart.
- Enter rows in a sensible order, such as by month or from largest to smallest.
- Use one colour for all bars when only the size matters, and a different colour to highlight one bar.
- Put the unit in the title, for example "Sales by Quarter (Units)", so readers know what the numbers mean.
- Use positive numbers. The scale always starts at zero.
Nothing you type is uploaded or stored, so download the chart before closing the page. If you are tracking change over time, the line graph maker is a better fit than a bar chart maker.
