How the Birthday Countdown Works
The tool finds your next birthday by taking your birth day and month in the current year. If that date has already passed, it moves to next year. The countdown runs to midnight at the start of that day on your device. On the birthday itself it wishes you a happy birthday and starts counting to the next one the following day.

If the birthday is 29 February, choose whether to celebrate on 28 February or 1 March in years without a leap day. For a birthday on 29 February 2004, the next one is counted to Sunday 28 February 2027.
