Crypto Profit Calculator
Use this free crypto profit loss calculator to find your exact return on investment (ROI), including exchange trading fees.

Quick answer
To use this crypto profit loss calculator, enter how much you invested, the price you bought at, the price you sold (or plan to sell) at and your exchange's trading fee percentage, then press Calculate Profit / Loss. The tool shows your net profit or loss after fees, ROI, coins acquired, total fees paid, total invested and exit value. For example, $1,000 in at $50,000 and out at $60,000 with a 0.1% fee is +$197.80, a 19.76% ROI.
Crypto prices move fast, and exchange fees quietly eat into every trade. This free crypto profit loss calculator shows what you actually made or lost after paying fees on both the buy and the sell, for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana or any other coin.
It is useful for checking a closed trade, planning a target sell price or comparing exchanges with different fees. Everything runs in your browser, and nothing about your portfolio is stored. This is a calculator, not financial advice.

How to Use the Crypto Profit Loss Calculator
Step 1: Enter investment, buy price and sell price
Type the amount you invested in dollars (or any currency), the price per coin when you bought and the price per coin when you sold or plan to sell. Use the same currency for all three.

Step 2: Add the trading fee and calculate
Enter your exchange's trading fee as a percentage, for example 0.1 for 0.1%. The fee is applied once on the buy and once on the sell. Press Calculate Profit / Loss.

Step 3: Read your profit, ROI, coins and fees
The result shows Total Profit or Total Loss and the ROI percentage, plus coins acquired, total fees paid, total invested with the fee and total exit value. Change the sell price to test different targets.

How the Profit Is Calculated
- Coins bought = investment ÷ buy price.
- Buy fee = investment × fee %; total invested = investment + buy fee.
- Exit value = coins × sell price − sell fee.
- Profit or loss = exit value − total invested.
- ROI = profit ÷ total invested × 100.
Crypto Profit Loss Calculator Tips
- Check whether your exchange charges different maker and taker fees, and use the one you actually paid.
- Include withdrawal or network fees separately if you moved coins off the exchange.
- Use the break-even idea: with 0.1% fees on each side, the price needs to rise about 0.2% just to cover costs.
- Keep records of every trade; many countries tax crypto gains.
- Never invest more than you can afford to lose; crypto is highly volatile.
Important Note
